Affiliated Timber Investment Conversion Advisors is pleased to announce three position opportunities in the timber industry as follows.
Position #1 - Sawmill Manager Key responsibilities: Overall supervision and leading all division of the factory to ensure quality standards, meeting production deadlines and minimize overhead Responsible for leading the factory operations including administration, production process and supplier management Ensure the smooth daily operation of the factory/mill Co-ordinate with every department to improve management efficiency and problem solving capability Assist senior management in evaluating and improving manufacturing methods Implement cost reduction and company goal projects
Position #2 - Logistics Manager Key responsibilities: To supervise a large team of supply chain, logistics & warehouse operation staff To monitor warehouse security To provide training to staff To follow daily operation and production orders, monitor the warehouse capacity and process flow with the most time saving and cost effective methods To coordinate with different internal departments To act in order to cope with inventory, peak, slack season issues
Position #3 - Chief Mechanic Key responsibilities: To supervise the mechanical maintenance work team to perform the repairs, breakdown maintenance corrective, and preventative maintenance of heavy vehicles, ship vessels and production facilities To manage the supply of spare parts To direct and coordinate work of mechanics To evaluate the reliability of repaired vehicles To handle the supply of the fuel and lubricants To ensure that the vehicles and vessels and the production facilities are kept in a clean and efficient condition
